This month, we’re raising a glass to an organization doing important work right here in our community. Our September Nonprofit of the Month is Backpack Society, a 100% community-funded nonprofit food bank supporting kids experiencing food insecurity in Douglas County, Littleton, Sheridan and Englewood. Their mission is simple but incredibly important: making sure kids have food to eat on weekends when they’re away from school.
You can help us support them on Saturday, September 26 from 4-9pm at moxYcello. Bring an item to donate to Backpack Society and we’ll treat you to a complimentary cocktail. Choose from a Cosmo, Lemon Drop or Espresso Martini.
