Coffee Infused Vodka

Our Espresso Martini has been consistently in the top 5 most popular cocktails ever since we opened the moxYcello Tasting Room.

Our motivation to create a coffee vodka was to avoid the added step to create espresso on demand for the classic Espresso Martini. We didn’t want the wait-time our customers would experience for their finished cocktail, nor the mess.

This simple preparation combining neutral grain spirits and whole bean coffee is recommended to all our customers who have consistently appreciated our spin on a modern-day classic cocktail and wish to recreate our coffee-on-coffee Espresso Martini for themselves at home.

Coffee Infused Vodka

  • 16 oz vodka
  • 4 oz by weight dark French roast whole coffee beans
  • 7 days until completion

You will need a sealed glass container for this preparation with enough room for both spirits and the added coffee beans. Combine both in your container. The beans will float for a couple of days until they begin to absorb your spirits.

Shake 2-3 time during a 7-day period. You will then need cheese cloth, or some other straining method, to filter out the solids from your now finished coffee vodka.

This will keep in the cabinet indefinitely. We recommend glass preparation & storage. As with all other recipes offered, label and date your finished product.
